
Rev. Dr. Matt Bowman, Pastor
Rev. Dr. Matt Bowman was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. After graduating with a degree in history from the University of Tennessee (Go Vols!), he attended graduate school at the University of Memphis, where he received a Master's degree in counseling. After three years working as an Academic Advisor at The University of Mississippi (Ole Miss), he felt a call to ministry. He received his M.Div. from Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary and his D. Min from Union Presbyterian Seminary. His wife Amanda, also a Presbyterian Minister, works as a hospice chaplain with Duke University Health in Durham. Amanda and Matt live in Roxboro with their son Micah and their dog Raleigh. In his spare time, Rev. Bowman enjoys watching college football, practicing yoga, reading, and traveling.

Bonnie Montague, Organist
Bonnie Montague is a graduate of East Carolina University in piano pedagogy and received her teaching certificate in Music Education from Meredith College. Bonnie served as the Choral Director at Southern Middle School in Person County for more than twenty years and led her students to perform for numerous community functions and organizations over the years as well as attending choral festival competitions. After retirement, Bonnie wasn’t satisfied not sharing her love for music with children so she accepted a part time teaching position at Bethel Hill Charter School. Beyond the classroom, Bonnie teaches private piano lessons and serves as pianist for the Community Choir of Person County. Bonnie's love for music began at an early age and she began playing for her church at an early age. She also plays for her family’s gospel quartet.

Jodi DeVillier, Disbursing Treasurer
Jodi serves as the church’s Disbursing Treasurer. In addition, she also works as the Testing Coordinator and Student Services Assistant at Roxboro Community School, a charter middle school and high school in Roxboro. Jodi has a Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology and Public Health from Michigan State University, and a Master’s Degree in Health Care Administration from the Ohio State University. Originally from Michigan, Jodi was raised in a military family and grew up living in numerous states and overseas. But Roxboro and Roxboro Presbyterian have been “home” for the past 17 years. When she’s not working, Jodi enjoys spending time with her husband Jim, and their adult children, Phil and his wife Katie who live in Roxboro, Paul who works in Raleigh, and Stephanie who’s a student at NC State.

Rhonda Boyette, Administrative Assistant
Rhonda serves as our Administrative Assistant. She was born and raised in Moore County, North Carolina and has two children, Nick & Megan. Rhonda worked as a paralegal for 26 years and a business office manager for the last 6 years. She and her husband Norman got married at RPC in 2018 on Christmas Eve. They love to spend time with their five grandchildren, as well as traveling. Rhonda and Norman's favorite place to travel is to the North Carolina mountains. When Rhonda is not spending time with her family, she enjoys scrapbooking.
