RPC Members raise over $900 and 700 pounds of food

Members of Roxboro Presbyterian Church focused on two mission projects during the months of September and October. Members collected coins in tennis ball can "banks" and raised a total of $905.48 that will be divided between the Christian Help Center and the Presbyterian Hunger Fund. They also participated in a "Fill the Bag" food campaign in which they filled grocery bags with specified numbers of canned meat, soup, peanut butter, green beans and other vegetables, applesauce, macaroni/cheese dinners, rice and dried beans. Items in each bag should provide a family of 4 with meals for 3 days. Seven hundred pounds of groceries were collected and delivered to the Christian Help Center.
