![]() Many thanks to all who donated candy for our Halloween curbside trick-or-treat. Our donations were so generous that we were able to take several grocery bags of leftover candy to The Warehouse for the My Life Matters students. The leaders use candy as a reward for learning Bible verses. Some of the pre-bagged candies included scripture verse bracelets. This was a big hit! Pastor Tim Bowes shared, “It was really neat to see a lot of these boys showing each other the scripture verses on the bracelets y’all gave us." “It was fun to watch them. It's hard to get them in the Word sometimes, so it was really a blessing to watch them enjoy that.” “ One boy put his on his ankle. I asked why, and he said, "You told us last year we have to learn to walk in the word, and I was just thinking this might help me remember that." I said, "You haven't forgotten from last year! Good for you!"”
