![]() It is that time of year again! We will be collecting through the end of the year. The offering will be collected through December 25th and dedicated Sunday, December 27th, as we support church workers in their time of need and students in their time of promise. Offering envelopes are in the offering plates, or write “Joy Gift” in a check’s memo line. The love of God overflows our hearts as we celebrate Immanuel, God’s perfect gift!

![]() Many thanks to all who donated candy for our Halloween curbside trick-or-treat. Our donations were so generous that we were able to take several grocery bags of leftover candy to The Warehouse for the My Life Matters students. The leaders use candy as a reward for learning Bible verses. Some of the pre-bagged candies included scripture verse bracelets. This was a big hit! Pastor Tim Bowes shared, “It was really neat to see a lot of these boys showing each other the scripture verses on the bracelets y’all gave us." “It was fun to watch them. It's hard to get them in the Word sometimes, so it was really a blessing to watch them enjoy that.” “ One boy put his on his ankle. I asked why, and he said, "You told us last year we have to learn to walk in the word, and I was just thinking this might help me remember that." I said, "You haven't forgotten from last year! Good for you!"” Thank you to all of you that donated candy, your time, and prayers for this event! It seemed to be a big success! We did have some leftover candy that Laura Dallas is taking to My Life Matters. Not pictured are Pat Cobb and Angie Wilson who were taking pictures. Thank you also to Beverly Laws for helping us out!
